How Does Video Analysis Work in Your Sport?

At the beginning was the finish photo. Then the moving images were added - sports science has been using film and video recordings for decades in order to subsequently analyse movement sequences or conflict situations - for example in extreme slow motion. And finally, modern video analysis was developed.

Today, the analytical comparison of several recordings can be used to gain helpful insights - about recurring situations (such as passing, ball reception, attacks or defences), about the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes or the accumulation of certain mistakes during a competition.
