On April 29, 2019, after a successful first test phase, the project acceptance for the multicamera system took place in the swimming hall of the Olympic Training Center Niedersachsen.
For the installation of the system, the summer break 2018 was used, when the water was drained from the pool. 4 PTZ cameras were installed in the swimming pool hall, two on the long side and one on each cross side, behind the gate.

The cameras can pan and zoom at the touch of a button, capturing situations and details in a targeted manner. This means that individual athletes as well as the entire team can now be recorded from multiple perspectives.
In the project, emphasis was placed on high mobility at the edge of the pool and on shock-protected cameras. Preset recording situations also ensure that the alignment of all four cameras can be adjusted simultaneously with a single click.
The system is particularly convincing with functions that allow the coach and also the player himself to see weaknesses and react to them immediately - no longer just verbally, but also visually. For example, with the time-shift function, game situations can be analyzed directly at the poolside live after the action - without interrupting the recording.
